Costume Contest Saturday, 11/2/2019

This contest is geared towards the humans, but pets may also dress up! We have a separate pet costume contest which will benefit Appalachian Animal Rescue Center.

Click here to register for the costume contest!

  1. Contestants must get judged both at Currahee Brewing and Altered Frequencies

    1. Stop by between 12 PM - 6 PM and let a staff member know you want to enter the costume contest. You will be scored at each location.

    2. At 6 PM, results will be counted and the top 10 contestants will be invited to come to Altered Frequencies at 7:30 PM for a line-up on stage and final judging.

  2. Buy-in is $5 and is included in the cost of your ticket whether you buy a single-day or weekend pass (so essentially you’re getting $5 off the cost of your ticket, rather than paying $5 extra to enter the contest)

Categories: Most Original, Scariest, Funniest

Judge will give a score of 1 to 5 for each category. An extra point will be given for coordinated group costumes of 3 or more. An extra point will also be given if you are dressed up with your pet.

The first round of judging will end at 6 PM and the top 10 contestants will be called to come back to Altered Frequencies at 7:30 for the final round. Contestants will be assigned a number 1-10 and the crowd will have the opportunity to submit their ballots.

Overall winner: The contestant the most overall votes will receive all of the buy-in money ($5 per person)

Top winner from each category: Gift certificate to be used at Altered Frequencies or Currahee, or free entries to a show at Altered Frequencies
